Registration is needed to attend as a non-speaker/attendee to the 4ICPM. All participants must be individually registered. The conference fee covers the attendance to the conference (all presentations), the conference pack and coffee breaks. The conference fees vary depending on whether you are a professional / a student, and the date of your registration (cf. proof of student status is required).
Note: Members of the Centro de Estudos Filosóficos e Humanísticos (Universidade Católica Portuguesa ) will have access to the conference for free. However, you still need to send us the registration if you would like to attend the conference (if, however, you would like to be part of the conference dinner and social program - excursions to Braga and Guimarães -, the normal fees will be applied and you need to register as indicated below).

Invoice Request:
- To receive an invoice for the registration of the conference, the participant must indicate a name (or a company – e.g., University of Lisbon), a VAT number, and a complete address + the description to appear on the invoice (note: this request should be explicit). Please note that once receipts are issued, it is not legally possible to alter them; therefore, we call your attention to the need for providing us with the necessary and adequate data.
Cancellation Policy:
- If, for some reason, you would like to cancel your registration and ask for a refunding, there are commissions to be paid to the bank that must be borne by the participant/research center (the amount depends on the method of payment and the country of origin). Please let us know as soon as possible so that the schedule can be fixed accordingly. Please be advised that after 1st of March reimbursement will not be possible.

The dinner will happen on the second day of the conference (March 7, 20h-23h), in a nearby restaurant (2min walking) called Dom Augusto Restaurant (if you use Facebook, you can look for it here: https://www.facebook.com/DomAugustoRestaurante. Address: Rua de São Vicente 222, 4700-367, Braga, Portugal.
The dinner includes starters, a main course (fish, meat, and vegetarian), dessert, drinks, coffee, and unlimited drinks (price: 30,00€). Moreover, the dinner will have a special concert of “Fado” which is the Portuguese traditional music recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. "Fado" derives from the Latin Fatum, which means fate or destiny, and is usually accompanied by a unique Portuguese guitar with twelve steel strings, strung in six courses of two strings.
Please notice that we need to receive the confirmation and payment of the dinner until 1st March so we can guarantee you a place at the table, and this should be done by bank transfer or Paypal as previously indicated (you can add the total amount in one transfer).

Excursions (Social Program):
We will have two excursions for speakers and non-speakers of the conference during the afternoon of the last day of the conference (Wednesday, 8th of March, 14h-19h):
- The first option (A) is to visit the city of Braga and costs 25,00€ (the tour starts at Avenida Central-Avenida da Liberdade- Palácio do Raio - Largo Carlos Amarante- Capela dos Coimbras- Jardim de Santa Bárbara- Library- Town Hall-Cathedral - Arco da Porta Nova);
- The second option (B) is to visit the city of Guimarães and costs 35,00€ (the tour starts at the Castle of Guimarães-Chapel São Miguel-Paço dos Duques-Rua de Santa Maria- Town Hall-Largo de Santiago and Senhora da Oliveira - Church of Sao Francisco-Toural).
In both cases, we will have a certified tourist guide that will explain all the details and information about what you will be visiting.
Important information: we confirm that you can participate in BOTH excursions if you want (Braga and Guimarães) since they will not overlap with each other (one will be right after lunch, and the other later in the afternoon). A minimum of 17 participants is required for each excursion to take place.
Please notice, again, that we need to receive the confirmation and payment of one or both exercursions until 1st March, and this should be done by bank transfer or Paypal as previously indicated (you can add the total amount - registration + dinner + exercusion(s) - in one transfer if you prefer).
